[Resolved] Creating an archive for custom post types

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

Re-creating an archive for a custom post type, because I did not get to finish it the last session.
however, it says 'Another item already uses this name. Please use another name.'

how may I resume if i want to use the same name?

Solution:

As the warning message you mentioned above:
Another item already uses this name. Please use another name.

There might be other view or Views wordpress archive is using same title, you will need to choose another name(title).

For example, you can get those existed views here:
Dashboard-> Toolset->

- Views

- WordPress Archives

thanks for the advice.
how can i make shortcodes render in an archive page?

#1145569

e.g.
hidden link

#1145573

There isn't built-in shortcode for renderring Views wordpress archive, the shortcode [wpv-view] works only for a normal view
hidden link

I suggest you follow our document to customize your wordpress archive page:
