I have a content template for a post called "Sitters".
I am using a cred form to create the sitter post. When I create the post and view it on the frontend, it isn't using the content template even though in the backend it shows that the content template is selected.
To get it to work, I have to edit the post in the backend and click "save as pending" (as my post starts in Pending status).
Do you know how I can get the post to use the content template right away after being submitted in the CRED form?
I assume you are going to setup the content template "Sitters" as default content template of single "sitter" post.
If it is, please try this:
Edit the content template "Sitters", in section "Usage", click button "Change usage", enable option of "sitter" post type.
And test again.
After user submits the Toolset form for creating "sitter" post, it should be able to assign with "Sitters" content template.

I checked the video and I see that content template you set is not applied, it looks like you need to set content template programmatically as new post is generated using Toolset form.
Can you please share problem URL and access details.
