[Resolved] Content Template by User Role

This support ticket is created 5 years, 4 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

How can i display different content template for a CPT, based in user role?

I have a CPT (A), with a default Content Template. I need to display a different Content Template for different roles in front end.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible within Toolset Access + Views plugins, for example, you can try these:
1) Create some content templates, each template is for different user role
2) Edit the default content template, use Access shortcode [toolset_access] ... [/toolset_access] to display display different content template for each user role:
