Hi there!

I'm actually reporting this for my client at NPTC, so if it's possible to direct this ticket to me at chad@chad-wick.com instead of George Mundell, the account here, then I can reply directly.

I discovered a conflict with another plugin we are using, Download Monitor, in their latest update.

hidden link

I was able to resolve it when I disabled Toolset and it worked again, and then rolled THEIR plugin back a version and everything worked again. I had been talking with their support, let them know the issue, and they are wondering if it would be possible to for them to get a copy of your plugin so they can fix the bug.

I didn't want to just send that, but I would be happy to ZIP up the current version to send to them if that's appropriate, or ideally, have you just work with them directly.

Their plugin, like yours, is very very robust, so it'd be great to get it sorted as until then, I can't update theirs. The Console log info with the details, which they have too, is below. But again, this is their issue, so just FYI.

The person I've been working with is names Mihaela Bordeeanu at support@download-monitor.com, and I'd be happy to CC you both together on a thread, or however is best if you prefer that too.

Thanks much!

Hi Chad,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The forum replies are only sent to the email address associated with the user account that created the support ticket. It is not possible to forward it to another email address.

For future reference, it is possible to create multiple users/team members, under a single Toolset user account, which can be used to start new forum tickets, independently:
https://toolset.com/account/user-management/

To troubleshoot this conflict, it would be most efficient, if you could share a staging website's access details, where the issue can be seen.
( you can share a similar staging website with the Download Monitor plugin's support too so that they can see the issue and can have access to the Toolset plugin files )

This will help us in investigating it and suggest the necessary changes, accordingly.

Note: Your next reply will be private and making a complete backup copy is recommended before sharing the access details for the production/live website.

regards,
Waqar

Good morning. This is Chad again, I'll check back here now.

And apologies if my email wasn't clear, but I'm not needing support for your plugin nor access to our side.

The issue with with the other plugin for sure, but I was asking if you could contact them directly to send them a copy of Toolset, or if it'd be okay for me to just send a copy, which is fine on my end, but i didn't want to do with permission, so that THEY can sort out the issue with their side of things. It's clearly a JavaScript conflict, so likely quick to fix, but it's on their.

If you're unable or unwilling to contact them to work it out directly, just let me know, close the ticket, and I'll send Toolset to them.

Thanks!
Chad

Hi Chad,

Thank you for writing back.

Yes, in this case, you're welcome to share the Toolset plugin files with them, so that they can do the troubleshooting on their end.

I'm going to mark this ticket as resolved, but, please let us know through a new ticket if you or Download Monitor team need any assistance from the Toolset side.

regards,
Waqar
