Hi Team,

Recently I got to know about Cloudfare through my blue host server.

Before I install it, do I need to know anything as I am using Toolset.

Any settings to change, so that I would need to use Cloudfare.

Thanks.

I assume you mean Cloudflare?

Storing images remotely on their CDN rather than on the local server?

We don't have any issues reported specifically for Cloudflare that I can find, but there are problems reported when using other CDN services, as described here: https://toolset.com/errata/issues-with-saving-images-and-media-fields-in-toolset-forms-when-using-amazon-s3-and-cloudfront-plugins/

Although that specifically refers to Amazon S3 CDN, I suspect other CDNs will encounter similar problems, but the only way to know for sure with Cloudflare is to try it and see.

Hi Nigel,

I'm talking about something provided in the below link. Kindly check and let me know whether there are settings needed using this.

Hi Pramod,

Thanks for writing back.

Since you haven't specified any particular service from Cloudflare, I'll assume that you're planning to host your website through it, as a whole.
( i.e. the actual website will continue to be hosted at Bluehost, but its copies will be served through Cloudflare, to improve speed and reliability )

We're not aware of any incompatibility issues arising from this setup and I've seen a number of websites from Toolset users, which are successfully using this. In the scope of Toolset plugins, you don't need to apply any special settings or precautions. If you face any difficulty in using Toolset plugins after enabling Cloudflare, you're welcome to let us know and we'll investigate it accordingly.

In the broader scope of using Cloudflare with a WordPress website, you can consult Cloudflare's official support and documentation:

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

Waqar

Hi Waqar,

Please check the below link:

Am I supposed to do any settings as per the below link?

https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/toolset-resource-directories-for-cdn-upload/

I'm not using W3TC instead using 'https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/cloudflare/'.

Kindly check an suggest me.

Thanks.
