[Resolved] Changing users role after membership expires

I've found several old support threads, including this one from way back min 2015 (https://toolset.com/forums/topic/change-user-role-after-x-amount-of-time/) where your support says you're working on a way to have membership roles added with Cred Commerce expire after a set amount of time. Has this ever been implemented, or, if not, will it ever be? I don't want to have to buy the expensive Woocommerce Subscriptions plugins for something that should be part of a membership site building platform - monthly or yearly memberships subscriptions are a very common feature.

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The feature of changing a user's role after a certain time is not available out of the box. And with the pause on new features ( ref: https://toolset.com/2022/06/whats-next-for-toolset/ ), it wouldn't be possible to share how long it will take.

So for now, you'll need an add-on like 'Woocommerce Subscriptions', to manage recurring payments:

Thanks for the response. However, it's very unfortunate that a feature you've been talking about adding for 8 years, and that is standard in most membership plugins and themes I've seen, won't happen indefinitely.
