[Resolved] Change Url description when using a Search Engine with toolset

This support ticket is created 4 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

Hi, I'm trying to change the URL description when I use the yacht charter search engine that is being used in that page, because I want a more friendly URL than the one I'm getting when I'm using the search.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I'm just using ideas like other plugins that can help like :
-Permalink manager lite.
-WP Permastructure

but I don't reach to a solution.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

I upload an image that can be used to get a better idea.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The URL parameters shown in your screenshot are needed for the view's search filtering.

Most users would prefer that only the page with the search form is indexed by the search engines and not the search results pages with a specific combination of search filters.

However, if you'd like to index such pages too, you can create shadow empty pages for each search filter combination and redirect them to the relevant search results page URL with the relevant URL parameters.
