This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I have a post type PRODUCTIONS

Productions have a 'Start Date' and an 'End Date' custom fields

I would like the URL of 'Productions' to include the YEAR of the 'start date' eg.

There isn't such a built-in feature within Toolset plugins, you might consider custom codes, for example:
Customize the rewrite rule of your website with action hook "add_rewrite_rule":
