Hi Guys,

I have a CPT Zipy with a child called zipy content table. I have created two views, one with the children entries and one with the Parent entries.

I then included the child template into the parent view, but I am not getting any positive results.

I have included two screen prints of the two views, I just need some guidance as for how to fix the problem.

Dear Andre,

Could you elaborate the question with more details?
but I am not getting any positive results.

Are you going to setup a nested view? like this:
- Parent Zipy A
-- Child zipy content table 1
-- Child zipy content table 2
...
- Parent Zipy B
-- Child zipy content table 3
-- Child zipy content table 4
...

If it is, you need to edit he parent view "Zipy Card", in the content template section "Template for the view", click the button "Fields and Views", find and insert the child view shortcode [wpv-view ...] into the content.

Hi Luo Yang

The end result must be:

Parent Zippy card various fields. [Parent view]
- Child field Only two field one a label one a url. ( multiple of these) [Subsection view]

Ie
ONE RELATIONSHIP
Name
Surname
Date of birth
MANY RELATIONSHIP
name of children
age of children

The first three entries will be one and the children be many.

I trust this explains what I am trying to achieve

I am getting the "one" side of the query right but the "many" side is not displaying.

Yes, I agree it should be able to display the child "Zipy Content Table" posts information, I checked your screenshots, but can not find any wrong settings, please check these:
1) deactivate other plugins and switch to wordpress default theme, and test again
2) If the problem still persists, please provide a database dump file (ZIP file) of your website in below private detail box, also point out the problem view URLs and page URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks
