Tell us what you are trying to do?

I want to edit an archive page for post type articles

Is there any documentation that you are following?
The newest video

Is there a similar example that we can see?
In the screenshot you can see, that there is no option to edit, neither in the toolset wordpress archive section, nor in the dashboard..
What can I do?

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

To troubleshoot this, I'll need to see how this "Articles" post type is set up in the admin area.

Can you please share temporary admin login details, in reply to this message?

Note: Your next reply will be private and please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Jens,

Thank you for sharing the access details.

When I try to log in to the admin area, it keeps showing the "503 Service Unavailable" message.

Unfortunately, error 503 is very generic and can be caused by a number of reasons, as explained in these guides:

You can also get in touch with your web host, in case you face any difficulty in resolving this.

Once this is fixed and the admin login form is accessible, please let me know and I'll continue with the investigation.

regards,
Waqar

Hello Waqar,

thanks so much for checking.
I have to apologize.
The username was wrong. I think it should not be the email adress but rather the username which is:

Test

The password stays the same.
Thanks for your help!
Regards
Jens

Thanks for the update.

During troubleshooting, I noticed that an archive was already assigned to the articles post type, but it was somehow incorrectly deleted from the database.

I've created a new archive for this article post type from WP Admin -> Toolset -> WordPress Archives and it is now showing correctly in the Toolset dashboard and the WordPress Archives list and you can edit it, as needed.
