Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am using Salient theme which has WPBakery integrated. I am using toolset for custom posts and would like to pull dynamic content into a slider on the home page (built in WPBakery front end).

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I followed the tutorial on building a slider with dynamic content (it was super helpful) and got the slider looking nice.

Within WPbakery, there doesnt seem to be a way to bring in Toolset blocks so I converted a copy of my home page to gutenberg and the code from WPbakery into blocks. I then built my new dynamic slider as you can see here (its at the bottom of the page just above some social icons):
hidden link

This functions fine until I try to edit the page in WPbakery. As soon as I edit and save, the slider disappears.

Im not a coder but im making my way around wordpress so if there is anything you can suggest I do, or not do, to make this work with WPBakery / Salient, that would be great.

Thanks!

Hello,

I can see the problem in your website, since it is a compatibility issue with your WPBakery theme, please check these in your website:
1) Deactivate other plugins, switch to parent WPBakery theme, and test again
2) Also check if there is any PHP error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/
3) If the problem still persists, please provide a copy of your website in below private message box, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only. I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks
