3 - selecting top location auto expands and selects its child locations.JPG
2 - All parent locations are collapsed.JPG
1 - click on location.JPG

Tell us what you are trying to do?
Before I spend hours going down the wrong path, is there an easy way to use multi-select taxonomy fields in the search bar, so that when a parent location is selected, all its child locations are automatically expanded (and selected)? Users can then deselect the child locations they do not want to include in their search.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?
See uploaded images or visit hidden link and look at the search function at the top of the page

What is the link to your site?

Hello,

There isn't such kind of built-in feature within Toolset Blocks plugin, for the taxonomy field of custom search form, there are only four options in "Type of control" setting, and two of them are multiple choice options:
- Select multiple
- Set of checkboxes

But none of them can achieve exact feature as you mentioned above.

So you might consider custom codes, but according to our support policy, we don't provide custom codes support:

You can also check it with our Toolset Contrators:
