Here is the feedback from our 2nd tier supporters, as you can see the problem is triggered by WPML "Translation Editor", now it is in the to-do list of "WPML Translation Management" plugin, our developers are working on it, I will update this thread if there is anything news.

I don't see any feedback from a second tier... did I miss something? So is there any workaround or a timeline (days, weeks?)? I mean we have just a custom post type and want to have a category page with the different categories... we have to plan when we can go on with the page.

I am not sure when will it be fixed, I have forwarded your questions to our 2nd tier supporters.

Hello,

Here is the feedback from our 2nd tier supporters:
The issue with WPML seems still under review by DEV, it has major priority, our developers are working on it

So, another two weeks have passed... we have this new page ready and need to go online as soon as possible, but without having a working archive page in English, we can't.

Please give us a timeline or a workaround - if it is major priority it can't last months to solve (and it's almost two months now).

Here is the feedback from our developers, the WPML issue should be fixed in the "WPML Translation Management" plugin version 2.6.6, please try these:
Upgrade all Toolset plugins + WPML plugins to the latest version and test again.

And feedback if the problem is fixed or not, thanks

Hello

I upgraded all the plugins, but with that, the problem wasn't solved. Then I run the SQL Query you wrote me in one of the previous answers (DELETE FROM wp08am_postmeta WHERE meta_key = 'wpcf-maschinenbild' AND meta_value LIKE 'a:1:%';) and then the English Archive pages reappeared. So, as far as I see, that seems to work now.

But there is another problem on the English Archive page which seems related with this one: On every archive page, there is a category description with a image in it (see screenshot-1 or hidden link). I can translate this category description (by just switching the language when editing the category and translate it) and it shows also in English as it should with all the HTML. When I change something in one of the products of this category (with the translation editor) and save it, the HTML Code and the image of this description field are gone (see screenshot-2 or hidden link).

So its again a very similar problem as the one before. And before you have to ask: Yes, I disabled all the plugins and switched to a default theme - the problem remains.
