[Resolved] After saving changes to Content Template the assignment will be lost

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that whenever the user is saving a content template that has divi builder assigned to it, the post assignment is lost.

Solution:

This was actually resolved in the latest version of our views plugins SO if you are experiencing this issue I would recommend updating to the latest available version of views.

Hello,

I have found out that after saving changes to Content Template made with Divi Builder, the assignment to my CPT is lost. I have to click on "Change how this Content Template is used" and select the single pages CPT again. Furtunatelly it does not apply to previously created CPT´s, so they are assigned to the Content Template as before. See attachment.

Hi Dave,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Would you mind providing me with a duplicator package of the site to run some tests here locally? This is not a normal result of saving a content template so I would like to investigate further.

The private fields have been enabled for your next response. Also to provide the duplicator please have a look at the link below.

Thanks,

Hi Dave,

I was able to also replicate the issue on a fresh install and have reported the issue to our 2nd tier supporter for further debugging.

I will provide any new information when I get it.

Thanks,
Shane
