Hello,

Just purchased the plugin.
I want to add it to a running site.
Is there any risk of breaking its functionality or design?
Are there measure I should take?

Thanks

Hi there

There's no reason for that to happen.

Only when you explicitly set something up in Toolset that you would expect to affect the design should it do so (for example, you create a new template to control the appearance of posts of some custom post type).

It's a sensible precaution though to take a current backup before you start working on changes to your site.

Once I create a custom type.
Can I import instances in bulk somehow.
And also is there demo data I caan use somewhere?

Hey there,

Thanks for your reply. I'll assume the ticket from here.

When you say 'instances', what exactly type of content are you referring to?

Regarding the second question, yes, we have several demo sites that you can use to be the basis of your projects. Please check our discover wp program:

https://discover-wp.com/
https://discover-wp.com/site-templates/

In your downloads page you can also find them: https://toolset.com/account/downloads/#application-frameworks

Please take a look and let us know if you still have doubts. Thank you!

Best,
Mateus.

Thanks,

By instances I mean after creating a custom type, let's say "Flats"

Adding 50 flats posts by xml or csv or something like that

Hope I explained myself better : )

Hi Jacques,

Thank you for the clarifications.

Yes, it is possible to import your posts from the CPTs created in the Toolset settings. Please refer to the following documentation to achieve this: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/import-posts-from-csv-with-relationships-using-wp-all-import/

There is also another options, check it out: https://toolset.com/related-lesson/export-import/

Please take a look and let us know if you still have doubts. Thanks!
