Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to add a featured image and excerpt to a Custom post that I made with Toolset

Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/customize-post-archives/?utm_source=viewsplugin&utm_campaign=views&utm_medium=archive-editor&utm_term=WordPress%20Archives%20online%20help

Is there a similar example that we can see?
I am trying to create an archive page for my website using Elementor. One of the archive templates displays the content from the featured image and the excerpt. I was wondering if it is possible to use this information on the custom posts that I have created. I have tried to manually create an archive page using the information from the document above but have had problems with the formatting on my website from this.

What is the link to your site?

Hello,

Elementor templates do not allow you to design the archive pages for custom post types. see our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/design-archive-pages-for-custom-post-types/

I suggest you try with Views WordPress Archive instead of Elementor template, see the document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/customize-post-archives/designing-an-archive-without-any-page-builder/

Hello,
When using the Views Archive method, the formatting of my website is altered (see image). Would you know why this happens? Is there any way around this?

It should be a compatibility problem, please try these:
1) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, and test again

2) If the problem is fixed, activate other plugins/theme one by one, try to locate the problem plugin/theme
