Thank you for sharing duplicator package. When I install the duplicator package on my local server and I found that when I deactivate the Elementor Pro plugin the video works on the frontend.

Can you try to deactivate Elementor pro plugin and check if you see the same.

Hi,
How were you able to view the video with Elementor Pro deactivated? The video is inside a Toolset Custom Field. Deactivating Elementor Pro means there is no way to show the Toolset Custom Field in the post.

Ok - so, you have elementor single template or you are using the elementor theme builder to build the single post layout?

yes, I am using Elementor Theme Builder to build the single post layout. I would not know how to insert Toolset Custom Fields in a Gutenberg Post Template, if that even exists 🙂 I've never ever worked with Gutenberg.

Can you please try to follow the following steps:
- Create a content template in legacy mode (not using blocks) from Toolset => Content template and name this content template as "video container for elementor"
- Then to this content template add the WYSIWYG custom field which holds the video, for example, for me the "pt-description" WYSIWYG custom field holds the video shortcode: [playlist type="video" ids="15291"].

[types field='pt-description'][/types]

- Save the content template.

Now, edit the elementor single post template that you are trying to build using the elementor theme builder.
- Navigate to the place where you want to display the video field and try to add the elementor shortcode module
- To this shortcode module, try to display the content template you created using Toolset using the shortcode:

[wpv-post-body view_template="ct-to-test-video-on-elementor"]

Where:
- you can replace the slug "ct-to-test-video-on-elementor" with your original Toolset content template slug
- save the template
- check on frontend to see if video is working as expected

I can see its working fine on my test site:

Here is the Toolset content template I've created in legacy mode:

Here is the Elementor theme builder single post template:

I hope the above information will help you to resolve this issue.

Hi Minesh,
Loading the video via the extra Toolset Content Template step works well, but it's an extra step and extra code.
Shouldn't it work via the Elementor Dynamic Toolset Field? That does load all the necessary code, except the SRC for the video tag is omitted (not empty, just missing). This might just be a bug in Toolset?

The thing is that the integration with Elementor and Toolset is limited.

Lets say, for instance, if you want to display post edit form, you will have to use such workaround as you should not be able to put the post edit form directly to Elementor but there is extra step you will have to follow.

The video field is displayed by Elementor and they knows better how they integrated the Video field. I suggest you should get in touch with them and ask for better integration for video field with Elementor and Toolset.
