Layouts is a WordPress plugin that lets you design responsive layouts for entire pages, from the header down to the footer.
Layouts User Guides include detailed documentation on how Layouts editor works and how you can create Layouts and assign them to specific content, or as templates for all items of a post type.
When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to tell us the versions of the Toolset plugins that you have installed and activated.

Problem:
The Maps distance filter is added to an archive custom search but is not working.
Solution:
The distance filter is not currently supported on archive pages. You can create a View with similar search functionality and insert that onto a static page and use that in place of the archive.
Problem:
Client is outputting term meta fields outside the loop on a custom taxonomy archive, but the term fields are not displaying.
Solution:
They should, and it appears to be an issue introduced in Types 3.0 which is still being investigated. In the meantime you can register the following custom shortcode (by add this code to your theme's functions.php file):
Problem:
With other page builders it is possible to design Content Templates for single posts with them, but is not possible with Elementor.
Solution:
It is not possible with Elementor, but Elementor Pro now includes its own templating system which will work with Toolset. They have a beta which adds support for outputting Types fields in their templates, and we have added a View widget to add Views to their templates and pages, with a Forms widget in the works.
The issue here is that the user installed types and his website started running slowly.
Solution:
Based on this customer's server configuration, it could be a number of things. One possibility is that he was running php 5.5 which is below the minimum that wordpress requires. It is recommend that you use php version 7.0 for maximum compatibility.
The issue here is that the user's theme header was overflowing with the woocommerce content.
Solution:
This was happening because the theme's menu is designed to overlap with the page header. In the case of the shop page made with Layouts the header was missing, so it was overlapping with the content.
To resolve this all that was needed was to rebuild a header in Layouts.
Solution:
Views allow you to display search form and results either different section of same page OR search form and search results in different pages.
