Problem:
How can I check if a certain user already bought a certain Product in WooCommerce?
Solution:
This depends entirely on WooCommerce.
We do not control the shopping process of the named plugin.
We just allow to style it or append products to CRED Forms.
It is hence not within the goal of Toolset to provide such functionality.
I accidentally changed the default wordpress archive with Toolset. How do I get back?
The problem is that some things in my theme do not work (home page sections, paralax sections).
When i disable Tooleset Layouts all works fine....
Solution:
Please try these:
1) Edit the problem layout, click button "Change how this layout is used ", disable options in it, and save
2) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> Layouts
option "What to display if no layout is assigned to content", choose "What the theme would output", and test again.
Problem:
A Layout is assigned to the author archive, and the client wants to display some custom user fields of the author at the top of that Layout, but nothing outputs when inserting the fields via Toolset shortcodes.
Solution:
The problem is that on an author archive the Layout doesn't know what post to retrieve data from all falls back to the $post object, but in the case of this client site which had no standard WordPress posts published there was no $post object.
Creating some standard WordPress posts (even if not used anywhere) fixed the issue.
Problem:
Installing the Maps plugin produced fatal errors.
Solution:
There were old versions of other Toolset plugins active on the site. There are co-dependencies between Toolset plugins and it is important to update all plugins at the same time and use the latest versions where possible.
Problem:
The issue here was that the user wanted to know what kind of structure to use whether he should create a custom post type for his content or not.
He also wanted to know how to do paid posts or premium posts.
Solution:
Custom post type is always the way to go when you are creating information in wordpress. So if you want to create a sspecific group of posts then use post types,
With CRED and custom post types along with Woocommerce you can easily implement a premium gallery option because CRED allows you to charge users when submitting articles.
