Problem:

Add css code in the CSS editor of an existing View with autoptimize plugin active, autoptimize is not picking up this code, if i place the code in the custom CSS editor of the childtheme it is working.

Solution:

Toolset Views plugin will output those CSS codes (css code in the CSS editor of an existing View) as inline CSS codes within HTML body tag.

According to that plugin description:

injects CSS in the page head by default (but can also defer), moves and defers scripts to the footer and minifies HTML.

It seems to be the autoptimize plugin can not pick up those inline CSS codes within HTML body tag, I suggest check if it is possible with autoptimize plugin author.
