I am trying to: save a WYSIWYG field inside a repeatable group

I expected to see: after saving, the WYSIWYG field with the saved data.

Instead, I got: a blank WYSIWYG field.

I tried in two different sites (one in production, one in development) and the problem exists in both. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

See attached screenshot to see before and after saving the post.

Hi Stefano,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I suspect that your issue is similar to the on below.
https://toolset.com/errata/visual-tab-of-wysiwyg-fields-may-not-initialize-correctly-appear-not-to-save-data/

There is also a workaround in our erratas page, please let me know if it helps you.

Thanks,
Shane

The problem is similar but it's not the same.

I confirm that if I use the "text" tab instead of the "visual" one, the content is saved correctly. If I try to save when the "visual" tab is active, it does not save anything.

Also, I'm using the classic editor but the issue you linked to happen only in the block editor.

I tried to install the jQuery Migrate Helper as suggested in the workaround section but the problem still persist.

Hi Stefano,

Given that it works on the HTML tab then the issue is related to the one in the errata.

I was told in a team meeting that the update that should address this is ready to be released but its going through our systems team as a part of the due process for releases.

So you should be able to expect a fix for this sometime this week or early next week. At the moment using the HTML tab is the only workaround available.

Thanks,
Shane

Thank you, I'll wait for the update and then check again. If the problem is gone, I'll mark this ticket as resolved.

Hi Stefano,

The latest versions of our Toolset plugins have now been released which should have a fix for this.

You can go ahead and update your plugins now. If you're not seeing them on your site you can download them from the link below.
