Hi there

I understand from your screenshot that the problem is that the footer is covering the content on post archives, is that correct?

When I visit your link that doesn't appear to be happening.

Can you confirm that that is the issue, and when it happens?

Have you created a custom archive at Toolset > WordPress Archives, or assigned a Layout to the archive in question?

Thanks for your response.

Our designer has installed new demo of Avada and it has created different error, but the main problem is Post archive hasn't been showed correctly.

When it has happened?

- First I have installed Avada Theme.
- I have created post type, post layout and post archive layout, there is no problem.

Problem has occurred when Designer has installed Avada demo.
- Pages/Posts/Post archive - wrong display
-> I can fix Pages/Posts by changing layout. Please check screen shot for more information
+ About - Backend Error 1.JPG -> Red Circle - Selected template layout: Layout For Pages -> Error (check About - Frontend Error 1.JPG

-> Fix: choose Stop using this Template Layout (check About - Backend Error fix.JPG)-> The problem has been resolved.
(check link here: hidden link)

I have create archive layout at Toolset Dashboard (screenshot).

Hi Charles

Sorry, I'm confused by your description, it is not clear to me what the current problem is.

If you had set up Template Layouts for posts and pages and then imported content that content may be missing the template assignment and need it explicitly setting, either from the individual post edit pages or when viewing the list of layout templates you would see an orange "bind posts" link that would do it in bulk.

Can you give me examples of specific pages that do not work as expected, and describe what you expect of that page and what you see instead. If you have temporary fixes in place please remove them while I investigate so that I can see the problem.

If you give me access to your site I can look at the pages in question to see how they are being generated and hopefully identify the problem.

I'll mark your next reply as private to get credentials from you. Be sure to have a current back up of your site.

OK, to make it simple, I have recorded the video for you.

When I have created post archive for Post type: ABC Story and this Post Archive doesn't display correctly (Error Display.JPG)

The video has recorded how I have created ABC Story Post Archive from beginning:
hidden link

ABC Story Post Archive Link: hidden link

______________________________________________________________________________
I have recorded another video to create Post template and there's no problem with the display:
hidden link

I don't have rights to give you credentials, so please check first. For next reply, if you need our credentials, I will ask our Dev to provide this information for you.

Thanks.

Thanks for posting the video, you appear to be doing everything correctly.

I created a CPT archive Layout on a local test site with Avada and I don't experience the same problem, the footer displays normally.

So it must be something specific to the settings on your site.

To check that I'll need access I'm afraid, if you could please arrange that. (If you don't want me to access your server I'm happy for you to make a duplicate of your site for me to install and test locally, as described here: https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/.)

I'll mark your next reply as private.

Hi Charles

I installed a local copy of your site and I can see the issue, but I can't see what's causing it.

I've escalated this thread so that it can be investigated further, and I'll get back to you when I have something to report.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi Charles

I'm reviewing my queue of escalated threads and I'm sorry to say that I see I overlooked this one.

I had a reply from second tier advising that the Layout in question appeared corrupted somehow, and that creating a new Layout would fix the issue with the footer. The header problem seemed to occur even without Views or Layouts, and would be fixed by adding a margin to the top of the content.

I'm very sorry for missing that, I assume you came up with some solution in the meantime, but if you need help, let me know.
