I am trying to:
Show the wpv-post-title of the custom type 'Dogs' on a related page

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see:
The name of the dog

Instead, I got:
[wpv-post-title]

The weird thing is, that it works on this view:
hidden link
hidden link

but not on the other view:
hidden link
hidden link

what am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hi, I'm having trouble seeing the issue on the two links you provided. I see the dogs' names rendered correctly on both posts. Did you resolve this on your own already? If not, can you provide a screenshot that shows the problem on your computer?

Hey Chris, sorry about that, I literally just figured it out minutes ago. For some reason, the custom post type layout did not load the same way for the two different pages, after redoing the layout and emptying caches it worked again. Sorry for the inconvenience. Are there any known issues with the Total Cache plugin?

If you have time, could you check my other questions, too 🙂 Thanks and happy Sunday. Tobias

Are there any known issues with the Total Cache plugin?
No specific issues that I'm aware of. Sometimes clearing cache is necessary after a modification, in order to force the latest updates to be applied across the site. I recommend checking out this document for some other advice:
