Tell us what you are trying to do?
Hello, I am adjusting the archive view (blog) and I was hoping to use WPBakery Composer. In the previous versions, we were able to use Toolset with WPBakery, for both Content Views and Archives - but in the current version, we seem stuck in WP's block editor, which is much more limited. Can you help us understand how to access a page builder like WP Bakery? Thanks!

Hi there

Go to Toolset > Settings and make sure that you specify the Classic editor for WordPress archives (screenshot). (You need to have the legacy editor available, whether you use only the legacy editor, or whether you mix the legacy editor and the block editor.)

If you have an existing custom WordPress archive that is using the block editor you will need to delete it and make a new archive with the legacy editor.

Now it should work as before. If you use the Loop Wizard for the output and set it to create a linked template for the output fields, you can then edit that template with WP Bakery.

Hi Nigel, I've followed your advice, but I'm getting a blank screen when I click into "Edit With WP Bakery Composer" Can you help assist?

That's unexpected. There are likely some errors on the page, either JS errors visible in the browser console, or PHP warnings or errors in the debug logs that would point to a problem.

Can I get access to your site to check? I'll set up a private reply, and I may need to take a copy of your site.
