All,
First time user of your plugin (and a new fan - Great stuff here! Will most likely be using for many if not all of our future projects).
My question:
So, we are hoping to setup recurring imports (using WP All Import & the Toolset Types Add On), I was following this documentation:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/how-to-import-content-into-wordpress-using-csv/how-to-import-data-from-a-csv-file-using-the-wp-all-import-toolset-types-add-on-plugin/post-relationships/
In the documentation it shows that you can add one to many relationships in a few ways, specifically you can use multiple columns (1 col for each rel), or we could insert multiple values in one column. Your example: https://toolset.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/relationships-in-wpallimport.png - This shows that you can use either "slug, ID or post title" separated by a character. My question is: Is it possible to use a different field (eg we will have a "Listing ID" field that is going to be our identifier (custom field different from the custom post type ID). Is it possible to use that custom field or no?
I have not tested it yet, this is just pre-testing, so I may be missing something obvious,
Thank you all for your help in advance,
Tison
Hello,
I assume the "Listing ID" is a custom post field, if it is, then the answer is no, as the screenshot you mentioned above:
https://toolset.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/relationships-in-wpallimport.png
you can use only the post slug, post ID or post title as identifier.
And the plugin "WP All Import – Toolset Types Add-On" is a product of WP All Import, you might consider to ask a feature request in their support page:
