I am trying to: access a View linked to a template

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: the view block builder when clicking on Edit View

Instead, I got: "you have no right to access this page"

this is not a big issue, I just had to build my view all again. To be even more precise, I had a search form, with a loop template, I still can access to the loop but when I open the page with the view, I only got a shortcode, I had to build it again.
Is this a normal step due to improvement in wp 5.5 and in Toolset blocks?
Thanks

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I am not sure what caused these issues for you. WP5.5 has introduced some changes that caused Toolset Blocks to display some PHP notices, but this was resolved by Toolset Blocks 1.2.2, which you have currently.

I would say that "you have no right to access this page" came probably from the fact that the view was already deleted when you tried to edit it, I imagine that you may have been opening several tabs and you clicked on "edit the view" while it was already deleted.

The fact that you have seen a shortcode may be caused by mixing editing experiences between blocks and legacy editor.

This being said, I wonder, if you are still encountering any of these issues? Or if recreating the view has fixed that for you?

I'll also encourage you to always take a full backup before any updates of plugins, themes, or WordPress. Zero bug software is a myth 🙂

Best regards,
Jamal

Hi Jamal
very good and precise answer, really, I appreciate the time you take to answer.
I also thought it could have something to do with a previous version of views but as far as I remember, I built it directly with Blocks (as I remember because such a project with universities takes quite a long time...)
I really don't know what could have been the bug origin since it's the only site with Toolset that had this issue. But rebuilding the search page from scratch solved the issue, I just wanted to know if I did something wrong or if some issue was identified to be able to anticipate any further problem.
Well, all seems working, that will end in the MBG (mysterious bugs graveyard) I believe
Thanks again for your time and explanations.
Best
