[Resolved] WordPress Dashboard still visible after turning off everything I could find

This support ticket is created 6 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: Remove all back end access for custom member role

I created a custom role, Member, which has capability similar to subscriber. It will be used to control access to some content and to edit a member profile via a form. It is not supposed to have any access to the back end and should not display the wp admin bar.

I've turned off everything except read access but I still see admin bar and some backend access when logged in with this role.

Toolset does not offer this kind of alterations to the default WordPress behaviour.
You will, minimally, at least be able to edit your profile, which is as far I know by now as well required for GDPR reasons anyway.
And, the WP Admin bar is always visible in WordPress, unless you hide it with Custom Code or a 3rd Party Plugin.

Toolset Access allows controlling who can see and do what related to your content, not the basic WordPress features like Profile.

I suggest to have a look at some custom code or other plugins:
