Tell us what you are trying to do? display custom posts in a custom taxonomy using the wordpress archives feature. It displays ALL posts rather than just the posts belonging to the selected category.

Is there any documentation that you are following? https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/customize-post-archives/

Is there a similar example that we can see? not that I know of

What is the link to your site? edgewoodchambernm.com

The specific page in question can be reached by going to hidden link and selecting one of the categories below the search box. No matter which category is selected, the archive view shows all posts. I need it filtered to only show the selected category's posts as shown in the URL. What am I missing?

Hello, have you created a Toolset WordPress Archive and assigned it to the Business Category taxonomy? If so, can you show me the Query Filter section configurations for this WP Archive? You should be able to see the Query Filter in the WP Archive editor screen. If you cannot, scroll to the top right corner and click "Screen Options" to activate the Query Filter. Take some screenshots so I can see the different configurations, and include them in your next reply. I'll take a look and give you some feedback.

I've attached a screenshot showing the query filter section. It seems like it's missing some options...

Okay the problem I see here is that the business category taxonomy cannot be filtered in the business category archive. For example, let's say the business category term is "arts-culture-entertainment". The archive for this term is yoursite.com/business-category/arts-culture-entertainment. On that archive, you cannot filter by the business category term because the archive is already filtered by term - the term arts-culture-entertainment. In this archive, you cannot switch terms and display an archive of another term - that would no longer be an archive of the term arts-culture-entertainment. It kind of defeats the purpose of an archive. The only way to achieve what you're describing would be to place a View of posts filtered by taxonomy term inside the WordPress Archive, and remove the filters from the WordPress Archive. But even so, that's not really the recommended way to use WordPress Archives.

One alternative is to place links to other term archives in a View of terms, and display that View of terms in the WordPress Archive somewhere. That would give your visitors the ability to jump to other archives without using search filters.
