Hi,

I have a site that has a custom taxonomy called 'IME Category'. I had created a WordPress archive in toolset to show the information I required to be shown when a user clicks on one of the terms in 'IME Category. This was working fine.

However, when I try to make any changes to the WordPress archive these are not reflecting on the front-end. I have tried multiple options, including trashing the existing WordPress archive and creating a new WordPress archive (designed to only show the word test) and this is not reflecting. No matter what changes I am making, the site continues to show the original WordPress archive for the custom taxonomy 'IME Category' that I originally made (which is now trashed, with a new WordPress archive for the taxonomy built).

There is no caching enabled on the site, and any changes I make on other views etc seem to work fine. I am only facing this issue with the archive created for this custom taxonomy.

Would appreciate any assistance on this regard.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is really strange. Can you please share access details so I can check whats going wrong with your steup.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Hi Minesh,

I found the answer to my problem. I have elementor pro on the site, and at some point I seem to have used the theme builder in elementor pro to display the IME category archive. This was overriding the one I was building via toolset.

My issue is resolved for now.

Thanks.
