Hello Toolset team,

we are preparing to update our site **toernfinder.de** from WordPress 6.9.9 to WordPress 7.1.2, and we want to make sure Toolset is ready before we do.

Toolset is registered on this site and the installer reports automatic updates until **17 August 2027**.

Your announcement of 15 September 2026 ("Toolset Is Back on a Monthly Beat") states that the latest coordinated release has full support for the WordPress 7.1 block editor. Your version page for **Toolset Types 3.6.3 (15 September 2026)** also says "Verified with the WordPress 7.1 block editor".

However, the Toolset installer in our WordPress admin does **not** offer these releases. After clicking "Check for updates" today (30 September 2026), it still lists the following as both installed and latest available:

| Plugin | Installed | Offered as latest | Date shown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toolset Types | 3.6.2 | 3.6.2 | 16 June 2026 |
| Toolset Views | 3.6.27 | 3.6.27 | 25 August 2026 |
| Toolset Forms | 2.6.25 | 2.6.25 | 23 June 2026 |
| Toolset Forms Commerce | 1.8.5 | 1.8.5 | 14 December 2022 |
| Toolset Layouts | 2.6.18 | 2.6.18 | 16 June 2026 |
| Toolset Access | 2.9.5 | 2.9.5 | 16 June 2026 |
| Toolset Maps | 2.2.4 | 2.2.4 | 13 July 2026 |

My questions:

1. Why does the installer not offer Types 3.6.3 and the other September releases on our site? Is there something we need to change on our end, or is our account on a different release channel?
2. Are the versions listed above safe to run on WordPress 7.1.2, or do we need the September releases first?
3. Is there anything specific we should test on WordPress 7.1 regarding the jQuery UI update to 1.14.2? Our site relies heavily on the Toolset date filters (front-end datepicker in Views search) and on date fields in Toolset Forms.

Our environment: WordPress 6.9.9, PHP 8.3.35, MySQL 8.0.46, Apache. The site uses Types, Views, Forms, Forms Commerce, Layouts, Access and Maps together with The7 15.0.5 and WPBakery Page Builder 9.0.1.

We will test everything on a clone of the site before touching the live installation, so there is no urgency — but we would like to know whether we should wait for the September releases to reach us.

Thank you very much,
Marcel

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I'm not sure why installer display the old version. I just check with my test site and installer does display the correct version. Maybe you should try to unrregister the site key and then try to generate a new site key and see if that helps.

Before you go for any update, with WordPress 7.1 WordPress switched to iframe canvas editor.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
Before update your site to latest WordPress 7.1.x and Toolset plugins:
I would strongly suggest that you should setup a staging site that should be 1:1 copy of your live/production site and then update first WordPess and then update ALL Toolset plugins to latest version.

In adddition to that, I would like to inform you that we just release a new hotfix version today for Toolset blocks/view and maps today:
- Toolset Blocks v(1.6.29) / Toolset Views v(3.6.29)
- Toolset Maps v(2.4.0)

Note:
At a time either you will require Toolset Blocks or Toolset Views plugin. You can not activate both
plugins as both are 1:1 copy.

Can you please update ALL Toolset plugins to latest version as well as WordPress on staging site first and check if everything works as expected and once you see everything is OK then I suggest you to go ahead and update WordPress and Toolset plugins with your live/production site.
