Won't Update from 2.1 to 2.1.1

This support ticket is created 7 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Trying to update Views 2.1 to 2.1.1 and it just hangs.

Please try it with FTP.

★ INSTRUCTIONS:

❌ Backup your website and database ❌
• Deactivate/Delete the "Installer" plugin (if you have it)
• Deactivate all (or the relevant) Toolset plugin(s)
• Login via FTP to your wp-content/plugins folder
• Delete all (or the relevant) Toolset Plugin(s) folder(s)
• Go to https://toolset.com/account/downloads/ and download the latest stable Toolset Plugin you need, then extract it.
• Upload the plugin via FTP to the wp-content/plugins folder.
⌥ alternatively you could upload the .zip file using Dashboard > Plugins > New > Upload

This should work fine.

We have had no issues with the latest Update, but it might be a server configuration or a 3rd Party Plugin or Theme causing this issue.

We will soon release a bulk of new versions of our Plugins, please if it happens again report this to me ASAP so we can analize this.
