Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please share access details so I can review how you setup the range filter for your price field.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

The thing is that when I search with the price range Min: 130000 and Max:140000
=> hidden link

It return the following two post as result:
=> hidden link
=> hidden link

If you check the price_score field value for both of the above property the value is set as 140000 and 130000 respectively.

The issue is, You have added the static price value in your description field for both of the property post that is wrong. Can you correct the value you added to description (post body) field and correct the price there.

I'm not sure i follow
"Can you correct the value you added to description (post body) field and correct the price there."

Would you mind walking me through what i will need to do, in more detail?

There is only one value that I can place in for the price. So how do I enter one thing that is certain to come between. example;
if the property is £82,000 I want it to flow through a highest to lowest search £80,000 - £90,000
How do I solve this?

I know this but what do i need to do to solve the issue.
searching £30,000 - £40,000 a property of £37,000 comes up

but that same property will also come up if i do
£20,000 - £30,000. Because it has a price score of £30,000

How should i key in one static value, like £37,000 and only have it coming between £30,000 - £40,000
Not £20,000 - £30,000.

If i put £37,000 in my price score it will show up on the website front end - but my client just wants it to show in £10ks
SO when i select the Price it will then show £37,000 in the drop down which i dont want.

Sorry Minesh
I havent explained it well.

If i do what you suggest - putting the correct price within the 'price score' (ie £37,000) - drop down in the front end will show
random values SEE EX 1.

My client wants the price drop downs to be in values of 10k's (10,000, 20,000, 30,000, 40,000...)

'Price score' was set to have a 'Select mode' within the custom fields - so the user will see a dropdown of values in 10k - SEE EX 3
But i changed it now to 'Number' mode to demonstrate what happens.

For that, you will require to setup your search field dropdown select value manually.

Please check the following screenshot:
=> hidden link
- Once you select/focus your price dropdown search it will show you the related options on right sidebar. I already set the field to use "Using manually entered values" and added couple of options.

You should configure your options in 10K as required and let me know.

#1795111

Great. so what your saying is you have set it up to work properly and i now have to configure each individual property now?
or do i have to do something elsewhere?
sorry, i'm certainly no expert, but if you can talk me through more clearly what I have to do next that would be amazing.

Thanks Minesh

You and your client wants that the filter dropdown select for "Min Price" and "Max Price" should display the options as 10ks - correct?

So, I already setup a example how you can setup the select filter options as 10ks and for which I already shared the screenshot:
- => hidden link
- Once you select/focus your price dropdown search it will show you the related options on right sidebar. I already set the field to use "Using manually entered values" and added couple of options.

So, with the following page, where you added the view with search filter, can you setup the dropdown select options in 10ks as per your requirement. You can use the "Add New" button to add another 10k item. I hope this makes things clear.
=> hidden link

If no, Can you please share the price range here that you want to display with your price select field.

#1795153

Ah...
so i keep adding a 'new' for 20k, 30k, 40k, in the field preferences on the right handside?
