This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
When Types plugin is activated, all avada modal buttons suddenly go wrong: it pops up, then disappears.
Solution:
Go to Toolset >> Settings >> General >> Bootstrap loading >> Select “The theme or another plugin is already loading Bootstrap 3.0”
