Hi Wayne,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry to learn about the difficulty you’re having.
I was not able to reproduce this issue on my test website, using the latest WordPress (4.9.8), Toolset Types (3.1.1) and WPBakery Page Builder (5.5.4).
The 502 is usually due to protocol conflicts in the servers:

For troubleshooting, I'll suggest the following steps:
1. Please turn on the WordPress debugging ( https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG ) and also check the server's error log for any errors/warnings.
2. Temporarily disable all plugins except Visual Composer (WP Bakery) and Toolset and see if the issue still persists.
(note: in your active plugins list, the Visual Composer plugin is listed as a modified version. To make sure modifications are not causing this, you can use the up-to-date and unedited copy of the plugin)
If the issue is fixed, you can start activating your plugins one-by-one, to narrow this down to a possible conflicting one.
3. In case the issue is still unresolved, it would be a good idea to also test these plugins, with any of default WordPress theme active (e.g. Twenty Seventeen).
I hope these steps will help! Please let us know how it goes and if you have any further information or questions.
yes i already did this..... this is why i am contacting you guys as its the toolset plugin which is causing the isse..
Hi Wayne,
Thanks for writing back.
As I mentioned in my previous reply, I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue on my test website with the latest Toolset and WPBakery Page Builder plugins.
This is why it seems the issue is limited to the plugin, theme files and/or server environment of your website only.
Your website is still using the modified and older (5.5.2) version of the WP Bakery plugin. I’ll recommend again, to switch to the unmodified and latest (5.5.4) version of the plugin, to rule out any conflict with the customizations.
Please also check the server’s error log for any errors/warnings, which can provide us with more insights about the 502 error.
In case the issue still persists even with the default and updated WP Bakery plugin files and a default WordPress theme (e.g. Twenty Seventeen), you're welcome to share clone of the website using the "Duplicator" plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ ). This will allow us to test it on our servers, to make sure it is not limited to how your server is configured.
Note: Your next answer will be private which means only you and our support team will have access to it.
