I am trying to: save woocommerce products

I visited this URL: any woocommerce product already existing

I expected to see: product saved

Instead, I got: no action

in first instance creating the ticket i could not provide debug info since i couldn't copy/paste from button (i think is the same problem i'm experiencing with the save button in products) and if i do it manually i cannot proceed, because the ticketing system tells me "the debug info is not valid", so i'll provide it manually now:

I understand you cannot save WooCommerce Products.

Could you open your browser console while you try to press the Update Button, and let me know if there you see some errors?

Also, the WP Debug could show it:

Then, it is necessary to know if this also happens with a WordPress Default Theme or our Starter Theme and NO Plugins BUT the Toolset Plugins?

If not, could you then re-enable the Plugins one after the other, and check the issue each time you enable a plugin?
Please report me when the issue comes back
It might also be due to the Theme.
Please do reactivate your Theme only after you are sure the issue isn't coming form a 3rd Party Plugin.

This sounds like a JS Error on your system caused by some Plugin Conflict.

thx for your answer: i agree it seems to be a JS error, but is seems to be caused by a conflict between woocommerce and toolset, because is still present now, that all pplugins are deactivated and i've installed the default wp theme (see below for all details).

i tried the debug console with my browser, but i found nothing (but i'm no so good at js debugging, so it could be maybe my problem recognizing the issue!) and i activated the wp define debug option in wp-config, but nothing's showing here, either.

i've created a copy of the live website on host: hidden link

NOTE 1: you need to modify hosts file of your computer in order to see it, because there is no DNS record about this 3rd level domain: the string for your hosts file will be:

87.76.17.36 test.lascienzadellasalute.it

NOTE 2: you don't see lots of images because i did not import the whole file system, just what is needed for debugging purposes 🙂

then i've done what follows:

1. deactivated ALL plugins, except for the toolset ones and woocommerce
2. system is perfect up-to-date: wp 4.7.5, woocomemrce 3.0.7, toolset plugins at latest release
3. no caching or whatever else present/active
4. tried both storefront (default offical woocommerce theme) and twentyseventeen, on their latest release

procedure:
1. you go to an EXISTING product, the first saving goes all right, then it stops working
2. simply you press the save/update prodcut button and nothing happens.

NOTE: this happens ONLY to products, not to pages or posts.

i created a admin user for you:

user: toolset
pass: how shall i write you the user's pass in a secure way?

DIY: go to hidden link, get a product, modify anything you want and save: first time ok, then nothing.

ps: my browser is Firefox, and i alsto took a look at the error log of the server, but no errors were tracked, so i'm pretty sure is a JS problem 🙂

This all works just fine on this website.

I logged in, visited a Product, edited it, and saved it.

It's this Post:

Can you describe where I can see the issue?

For me, everything works, and Toolset is active.
Also after saving repeatedly.

What you have, is a Numeric Field at the bottom of those Screens, that holds non-numeric Values.
This is namely the "WooCommerce Product Price" that holds a value like 17,45 and that will trhow an error on save, but you will see the error, it's not hidden.

It even scrolls down to the error causing field.

Apart from this, all works fine.

Hi Beda,
if i try to save that product ("Sandoz Exoderil nailer") it kepps on doing nothing to my "save" button: i press it and nothing happens, the page is not reloaded and the data is not updated.

e.g.: if i modify the title and press save and then go on front-end, nothing changes.

this happens both with firefox AND chrome.

I edited that product and added the "!!!" as you did.
It is still there, you can see it here:

1. You have a Field that complains to have a wrong numeric format as I explained above.
This Field keeps you from saving the Post.
Please see my screenshot.
When you change it to a dot (like 17.66) it works.
Those are numeric Fields, they cannot hold a comma.

2. If that is not the issue, please try with the user you sent to me. It is possible your user is corrupted in the Database.

ok! now i see what you mean! the issue was caused by that numeric field. i removed it and now saving is ok, thx! i couldn't see that fields group because in my user's window that group was hidden from the UX...
