[Resolved] when I click on download it shows error Update package not available. ()

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

Getting the message "Update package not available. ()", when trying to update the Toolset Types plugin.

Solution:

This issue can be experienced if Types plugin older than 3.+ version is in use and suggested the following steps:

1. Please deactivate the Toolset Types plugin from the admin area, but don't delete it.

2. Using the FTP access or hosting's file manager tool, delete the "types" folder at the "wp-content/plugins/" folder.

3. Download the latest Types version from the downloads page ( https://toolset.com/account/downloads/ ) and unzip the files on your computer.

4. Upload the same "types" folder in place of the deleted folder and then activate the latest version.

After that automatic update will work, for future releases.

Hi,

In Types 3.+ version, some major changes were introduced to how updates are installed, which is why the automatic update may not work on websites with older than 3.+ Types version.

To make it work, here are the steps:

In case the issue still persists, you're welcome to start a new ticket, for further investigation.

regards,
Waqar
