I am trying to: Print a webpage of a site I developed using Toolset and Astra Pro, so that it uses screen format – with multiple columns – not mobile format with a single column.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Printed page with columns a la screen

Instead, I got: Printed paged with a single column a la mobile phone

We and our client would like to print this website for review and notes. We're great with WordPress websites, and this is our first time with Toolset and Astra Pro. We realize this might be related to the theme or Toolset or some combination.

When we print the website, from Chrome or Safari (latest versions), it always prints a mobile version with a single column. Even printing in landscape orientation doesn't help! We've looked all over the stylesheets, including Bootstrap, and can't find print styles that would do this. Is there something about Toolset that would make the website print as a mobile version in a single column?

Thank you,

Dear Mark,

I have tried the original Astra theme in my localhost, download from:
https://wordpress.org/themes/astra/

But there isn't similar problem as you mentioned above, see screenshot: astra.JPG

In case it is a compatibility problem, please try this:

1) deactivate other plugins and switch to original Astra theme, and test again

2) If the problem still persists, please provide a database dump file (ZIP file) of your website in below private detail box, also point out the problem page URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

Luo,

Thanks. We've been reviewing this some more, and it's not a situation with Elementor. Controlling how a website we design prints is just more complicated than it used to be! Thank you for your assistance,

Mark
