Tell us what you are trying to do? I have a toolset gallery. I want to use view to display gallery instead of content template because I need to be able to display on page with brizy page builder header. That means I need to be able to put a shortcode on page. The gallery works fine with the content template, but it uses the theme's header which I don't want. I have tried the views and can't seem to get it to work. Please help. Using page oceanwalk as test page.
Is there any documentation that you are following? Saw a video.
Is there a similar example that we can see?

Content Templates are, firstly, a way of gathering together some HTML markup (including shortcodes).
You can also assign Content Templates to a post type, so that they take over displaying the content part of the page for that post type.
But you don't have to.
You can put markup into a Content Template and then insert that template anywhere that accepts shortcodes.
Use the Fields and Views button to insert the Content Template and it will insert the wpv-post-body shortcode with the name of the template.
If you are inserting it is some 3rd-party UI where the Fields and Views button is not available, you could insert the template in some dummy location just to be able to cut and paste the shortcode where you want it.
So if you already have a gallery in a template that works and you want to use it somewhere else it sounds like you should be able to insert the template, with the wpv-post-body shortcode, where you want to use it instead.
