I created a number of custom fields in my dev database. I’m now setting up a staging environment. I did a migration from Drupal to WordPress using the FG drupal at wordpress plug-in. In the staging environment I need to start with a fresh dump file from production. I want to migrate all those custom fields from development. Is there a way to get a script or some sort of export file that will make those changes in my staging database?
Thanks, Jim
Hi Jim,
Thank you for contacting us.
We apologize for the delay, as we had an unusually busy queue after the weekend.
If you're interested in selectively migrating website's structural elements (like custom post types, custom fields, views, forms etc), you can use our "Module Manager" plugin, as explained in the following guides:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/export-import/
Alternatively, there are a number of third-party back-ups and migration plugins available which can be used to migrate complete websites, from one server to another. For example:
1. Duplicator – WordPress Migration Plugin
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
2. All-in-One WP Migration
https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/
I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.
regards,
Waqar
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
