This is more of a general question. All my sites use views and I loved that plugin. But I just noticed today that its now listed as a legacy plugin. I'm assuming that means its not going to be maintained going forward? Are there any guides available to read and show me how to flip from Views to the newer plugins?

Hi Caroline,

Thank you for getting in touch.

All my sites use views and I loved that plugin. But I just noticed today that its now listed as a legacy plugin.

That is correct our Views plugin is placed in the legacy section because it is essentially being replaced by our Blocks plugin. Though both our blocks and views plugin are exactly the same so both will continue to receive updates and support.

Essentially if you install Blocks your existing views will still continue to perform normally, however you can build out your new views using the block interface.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
