Tell us what you are trying to do?
Have a dropdown display a list of start dates for an appointment custom post type.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
Not so far, no.

Where am I currently?
The dropdown is there, but it shows the date as UNIX timestamp and in contrast to other Toolset components those filter controls don't seem to offer a date format option that affects the output in the dropdown list. So I get UNIX numbers instead of a calendar date. To state the obvious: I need the latter.

Any workaround or some JavaScipt to add (I suck with JS)?

Regards,

Sven

Hello,

I assume we are talking about a custom date field.

If it is, there isn't such kind of built-in feature within Toolset search form, the custom date field will display as a datepicker in frontend search form by default.

You can add a feature request for it:
https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/
Our developers will evaluate it.

According to our support policy, we don't provide custom codes support, if you insist on custom JS codes workaround, you can try to follow article to change the timestamp value into date format:

Hi Luo,

yes, it is a custom date field. As the consulttion date is a common order criterion within a doctor's single patient file, yes, this is a must-have. So I shall request it as you requested.

The ticket can be closed for now. Thanks for your assistance.

Regards,

Sven
