[Resolved] Views breaks Elementor layout

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Views breaks Elementor layout

Solution:
When you set your page to use the Elementor, you should not assign the content template you created using the Views.

When I edit your home page, I see that user have assigned the content template "PAGE Block", so I set the content template to "None" for the home page.

I have been using Elementor and Views together a long time, but in a new dev site I seem to have a problem where Views breaks the Elementor layout. Specifically, full width sections are confined to the grid, and spacing is affected. I have disabled all plugins and done the usual tests, and it is definitely enabling Views that causes this issue (see attached).

Strangely, the page looks correct in the Elementor page builder back end, even with Views enabled, but the display in the front end is broken.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

When you set your page to use the Elementor, you should not assign the content template you created using the Views.

When I edit your home page, I see that you have assigned the content template "PAGE Block" and set the content template to "None" for the home page.

I can see now its working as expected: hidden link

Can you please confirm it works at your end as well. I already activated views on your site and home page looks just fine.

Hi Minesh - damn, sorry, I'm an idiot. This site was originally using Toolset Layouts and moved to Elementor, and the original content templates from Layouts were causing the issue. Thank you for picking this up - I've deleted them all.

many thanks
Ian
