Hi there.

I am trying to make a Custom Post Type Archive page for my site but I am having difficultly achieving what I want.

I would like to have the screen feature a photo on the left 50% of the screen and a text list of the posts for the specified taxonomy.

For instance, I have a taxonomy called "collections" one of the "collections" is called "Natural Stone". another one is called "Concrete"

How can I set up the views so that I will achieve something similar to the attached file?

Photo on left 50% of page, List of all posts matching the taxonomy being visited

Using the "create Archive Page" for my custom post type, I am able to generate the ;list of products, but how do I style the rest of the page? Do I need to use a themebuilder such as DIVI to do this?

Using DIVI (only pagebuilder I have handy at the moment) ... I am able to create the correct archive page in style:
hidden link

but I do not know how I should format the Toolset View to display the matching products in that category like in the screenshots

I tried the manual view editor to make a new view ... but I have no idea what to select or type in the in order to make this work

Any help would be appreciated ...

thx

Gordon

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I do not think you will require any page builder as I think you can easily achieve this using the Toolset Blocks and Views.

Here is the page sample of our reference site where we added the image on left side and content on right side.
=> hidden link

The only thing to display the related posts belongs to specific term, you will require to create a nested views, one view that should query the taxonomy and another view that should query the posts.

Here is the article that shows, how you can group the posts by taxonomy term:
