- Tell us what you are trying to do?
To add a View Block to display a grid with the list of categories of a custom post type, but when adding the view, I can only select custom post type, but not taxonomies (categories). My categories even has a featured image I want to display using dynamic fields.

- Is there any documentation that you are following?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Using Toolset Block mode, you can create only Post type Block view as taxonomy and user type views are not supported yet but wee do have a feature request and its known to us and we will try to add the taxonomy and user type view so that you can build taxonomy and user type view using blocks.

For now, the only way to create the taxonomy view is you will require to create a view using classic mode, from:
=> Toolset => Views => Add New and make sure you set the Editing Experience from Toolset => Settings => General tab => Editing Experience section and select the option "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build"
