Hi,

I had an issue, see here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/map-does-not-work-anymore/

Again, after updating a page with a view on it (just altering text blocks, nothing with the view) the page went after "updating" to draft status. After manually again setting it to "publish" the page is visible, but the view is again set to "draft" as Nigel explained.

Now as this happens, I a) want to inform you that there seems to be a big, and b) ask (Nigel) how the view (!) is set back to "publish". Nigel mentioned a "code snippet" to " revert the status back to publish". How can I do this now again on my website? Where?

Kidn regards,
Martin

Hello,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, the post view should be in "Published" status unless you change it manually.

There might be other compatibility issue in your website, and the website credentials you provided in previous thread was removed for protecting your privacy, I suggest you check these in your website:
1) Setup the post view with classic editor, and test again
2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to WordPress default theme 2021, deactivate all custom PHP/JS code snippets, and test again

I have enabled the private message box, if you need more assistance for it, please provide your website in it.

Hi Yang,

Before we enter a deeper examination, can you provide information how to bring the view itself back life (published) first?

As Nigel did? Just as it is live and a map in the page does not show an information at all..?

See here:

Kind regards,

If your post view is created with classic editor, you can only trash/delete it, you can not change it's status to "draft", unless there are other compatibility issue in your website.

And of course, you can change the view's post status in database, if you are familiar with mysql query, for example:
run below SQL query in your website database:
SELECT * FROM wordpress.wp_posts WHERE ID='123';
replace 123 with your post view's ID
Find and edit column "post_status", change the value into "publish"

Thanks for the direction. Unfortunately, the status of the view is "Published" so that this is not the reason for not showing up. Any idea - maybe also from Nigels in-depth inspection from the last time?

Sorry for the delay answer, I just come back from holidays.

The credentials you provided in previous thread was removed for protecting your privacy:

So please provide a copy of your website in below private message box, also point out the problem page URLs, I need to test and debug it in my localhost
