Vcard file download?

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Tell us what you are trying to do? I'd like to add a icon + link in my loop item that will download that team member's vcard. The vcard file is added to the team member via Advanced Custom Fields. Right now it's downloading an html file? Not sure why or how it's doing that. The field shortcode is [wpv-post-field name='vcard'].

Is there any documentation that you are following? No I couldn't find anything relevant.

Is there a similar example that we can see? Trying to make it just like this site, however this site is not using Toolset: hidden link (the vcard icon + link is at the far right)

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I see you are using the ACF filed to display the vcard field. Instead of using the Types shortcode [wpv-post-field name='vcard'] to display the vacard field vlaue, you should use the acf shortcode as given under.

 <a href="[acf field='vcard' post_id='[wpv-post-id]']" download=""><i class="fas fa-id-card-alt fa-border" aria-hidden="true"></i></a>

I can see it offers the correct vcard download URL and when you click on the icon it downloads the vcard file. Can you please confirm.
