I am trying to: Use the product dimensions (height, width, length) of a woocommerce product in a views filter. I´m using the new blocks plugin . If i create a new view and set up the filter by adding new search fields the woocommerce fields for the dimensions are not showing up.
I´ve read this support thread: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/filter-by-product-dimensions-woocommerce-views-filter-fields/

So i´ve tried to activate them like it´s described there. But even under Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> Front-end Content
in section "Hidden custom fields" i can´t find them.

At the moment i am using my own custom fields (see link below). But i like to use the woocommerce fields instead.

How do i activate them so i can use them?

Hello,

Thanks for the details, I can log into your website.
I have tried it in your website:
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> Front-end Content
in section "Hidden custom fields", click button "Select custom fields", I can see both fields in the dialog window:
- _width
- _length
Can you confirm it?
For the _height field, please create a product with "length" attribute in Dimensions setting, and test again.

Hi,

thanks for your reply. I don´t know why i didn´t see those fields in the first place. Now i activated them and i´ve tried to update the filter in the view. For the first filter field i inserted i had the possibility to choose one of the fields (height). But i´ve tried to add another filter field and there i didn´t have the possibility anymore to choose one of the fields. I have no idea why. It seems that not all fields are in the list anymore.

Page: hidden link

Could you please check that. Thank you.

Q1) I don´t know why i didn´t see those fields in the first place
As I mentioned above, you will need to add a product with those Dimensions settings:
- _width
- _length
-_height

After those post fields are saved in your website database, then you will be able to find them in Views settings.

Q2) But i´ve tried to add another filter field and there i didn´t have the possibility anymore to choose one of the fields.
What is the antoehr filter field are we talking about?
Please edit the problem page:
click button "Add Search Field", I can see it works fine. see screenshot Add-Search-Field.JPG

FireShot Capture 218 - Seite bearbeiten ‹ Toolset Beta Testseite — WordPress_ - ts-beta.aufdenpunkt.digital.jpg

Hi,

after your first reply i did what you told me:
- adding the woocommerce fields for width, length, height (that worked fine)
- adding a width, length and height for a product (see screenshot: FireShot Capture 217 - Produkt bearbeiten ‹ Toolset Beta Testseite — WordPress_ - ts-beta.aufdenpunkt.digital)

After that i was able to set the first (!) search field for the height. In the filter it´s called "Height (Woo)". That worked fine.
Please see screenshot: FireShot Capture 218 - Seite bearbeiten ‹ Toolset Beta Testseite — WordPress_ - ts-beta.aufdenpunkt.digital
Also you can see the field "Height (Woo) live here: hidden link

But after that i wanted to add two more search fields (width and lenght). But in the dropdown of the search field the dimensions are not visible anymore. Like i said for the first search field it worked fine. But not for the second one. I don´t know why i can´t choose them anymore. There are two products which have dimensions set up:
- hidden link
- hidden link

Please check it for yourself in the backend. Thanks.
