Tell us what you are trying to do?
Creating templates for single custom post pages
Is there any documentation that you are following?
design template using visual composer-Toolset docs
Is there a similar example that we can see?
hidden link
the problem is that I have a row with 2 columns at the top of the page-the image is there but the 2nd column text stays only under the image, cannot put it in the 2nd side column, or 3 columns. At the bottom of the page, I put in 3 columns & text appears in all 3 side by side-so this is good. No good at top of template but ok further down????
Also I do not understand why when you have created a template, & you go to the view set up, you again have to put in the fields-can you not just put in the template?
What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - can you please share screenshot about which section you are talking about? I see on the problem URL you shared:
=> hidden link

I can see the two-column one is holding image and another holding text. Can you explain more what is your exact issue?

Thx Minesh. In this window- hidden link you will see the image then text underneath it. Using WPBakery, I wanted that text to the right of the pic, in the same row. I Tried putting in 2 columns then 3 columns but the 5 fields there always stay under the picture. Further down the page I put in a row with 3 columns and there is no problem. So what am I doing wrong here.
The columns set up with no problem further down on the page but not up at the top.
I have tried putting 2 text boxes at the top, 1 to replace the picture, but they still set up 1 under the other, rather than beside each other in the same row.

N.B. Cannot add screenshot-upload button is not functioning

Well - please check the screenshot I shared:
=> hidden link

Do you mean that the text should be displayed within the blank red box? If you are not able to upload the image here, please feel free to upload on any other file sharing service and send me the link so I can check your screenshots.

Hi Minesh.
Re your screenshot, the way the image is set up with the text beside it, that is what I have been trying to do. The fact that you are getting the screenshot, the way I set it up on my backend using WP Bakery/Toolset, means probably that there is something wrong with my computer-Microsoft Surface pro 4-it's a tablet. Your computer screen rendered the set up almost correctly- (the text box which is beside the image actually has 5 lines in it-not 4 like in your screenshot).
The text block that you put inside the red box, is exactly that-a text block that I put in under the top row which as your screenshot shows should have an image & text beside it. I will try to speak to Microsoft to see if something can be done about the "Window" on my screen not rendering the format correctly. What is also puzzling though is that the set up does not render properly on my smartphone, which is Android, nor on my other tablet which is an iPad.
Re my 2nd question: I do not understand why when you have created a template, & you go to the view set up, you again have to put in the fields-can you not just put in the template? ??

Hi Minesh.
I think I have resolved the problem with the display. It was my lack of understanding of the various parameters installed in the WP Bakery builder. Checking WP Bakery support I saw 1 item that applied to my situation-had passed over that previously. So thanks for your help once again. I have to keep educating myself, both with Toolset & with WPBakery & perhaps I'll get to the point where I can set up my website the way I want it.
I still would like to know about this: Re my 2nd question: I do not understand why when you have created a template, & you go to the view set up, you again have to put in the fields-can you not just put in the template? ??
The best, Stan C.
