I have never switched to Gutenberg (Blocks) and have continued to use the WordPress legacy editor. I hired a developer to redesign my home page and they only knew Gutenberg, so they used Toolset Blocks on the home page which requires multiple blog post searches. I have only used Toolset Views and not Blocks.
Did they ruin my whole editing experience using the WordPress legacy editor? In other words, when I edit the home page with the legacy editor, will it work okay?
If I have to modify the home page, what is the easiest way to edit Toolset Blocks in the legacy editor? All the documentation assumes I'm using Gutenberg.
P.S. The staging site is password protected so you probably won't be able to see it.
Hello,
You can design the page with Gutenberg(Blocks) editor, and display the legacy views in it, you just need to add a view block, choose the existed legacy views.
And you can enable the legacy views by following our document:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/enabling-legacy-version-of-toolset-views/
I'm sorry, but I don't think I explained my question clearly. I plan on continuing to use the WordPress legacy editor and not Gutenberg. By the developers using Toolset Blocks, if I need to make a change to what they did later, am I then forced to use Gutenberg to edit it?
It is not recommended to use two different page builders to edit the same page/post, it will conduct unexpected results.
I suggest you create another content template, and design it with legacy editor, in the blocks editor, you can display above content template with content template block:

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
