Hi - Can I use the video custom field to embed YouTube video links?

I created a custom field for video (placing the shortcode in a Divi VIdeo Module) but the field doesn't appear to accept YouTube links.

Is there a way to do this?

Thank you.

Hi Chuck

The video field is for when you are hosting your own video files (https://toolset.com/documentation/customizing-sites-using-php/functions/#video).

For youtube and other video services you need the embedded media field type (https://toolset.com/documentation/customizing-sites-using-php/functions/#embedded-media).

Try with that and let me know if you have any problems.
